This policy explains what personal data Jungle Garden Plant Laboratory (“Jungle Garden”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit junglegarden.me, buy from us, contact us, or message us on Facebook Messenger, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We use no other analytics tools.
We do not sell your personal data.
Messenger and automated replies
When you message our Facebook Page, an automated system may suggest or send the first reply. A member of our team can take over the conversation at any time, and you can ask for a person at any point. Messages are processed by our software and by Meta (Facebook) under Meta’s own terms. Message text is sent to our AI service provider, OpenRouter, which passes it to the AI model provider that generates the reply. We configure these services so that your messages are not used to train AI models.
Who we share data with
- Stripe, to process card payments.
- Our email provider, Resend, to send order confirmations and replies to the contact form.
- Our hosting provider, DigitalOcean.
- Shipping carriers and customs or plant-health authorities, only what is needed to deliver your order and obtain the required permits and certificates.
- Meta Platforms, when you use Messenger, and, if you agree to marketing cookies, for the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd for visitors in the EU, Meta Platforms, Inc. for everyone else).
- OpenRouter and the AI model provider it routes to, to generate Messenger replies.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Where your data is stored
Order and customer records are kept in our shop database on servers operated by DigitalOcean. Some providers above process data outside your country, including outside the EU/UK. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records: 5 years, as required for accounting records in Thailand. Contact form emails: 12 months after our last reply. Messenger conversations: 12 months after the last message. Cookie choice: 180 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit or object to its use, or move it to another service. To ask, email [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting your data (including Messenger data)
Email [email protected] with the name or email address on your order, or the name of your Facebook profile if you wrote to us on Messenger. We will delete your data, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices), and confirm by email.
Children
Our shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may change this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
