Orders ship within 7 to 14 business days after payment. This preparation window allows our laboratory to clean plantlets and complete mandatory Thai government phytosanitary inspections. We hand parcels to the carrier immediately following official certification.

Open and inspect your parcel as soon as it arrives. Photograph the box, the shipping label and the affected plants in clear light, then contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number. We review every report. Please note that damage, death or loss during international shipping, customs clearance or carrier handling is not covered by our refund or replacement policy, because these are outside our control. Minor transit stress such as temporary wilting, yellowing or leaf drop is normal for live plants and is not a defect.

Yes, if we sent you the wrong plant. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos, and we will arrange a replacement or a refund for the incorrect plant. We do not refund or replace plants damaged or lost in transit, nor plants that arrive in acceptable condition and later decline during acclimatization. Document your order before you repot, treat or cut anything.

We often arrange bespoke shipments to unlisted destinations through specialized cargo brokers. Contact us with your destination country and desired plant list. For large commercial volumes, submit an inquiry through our wholesale page.

For the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Singapore, no. Dragon Courier holds the permit and handles the whole import process for you. For the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan, no permit is needed up to 30 plants; above that your agriculture authority will require one. Elsewhere, check the destination column above and your own national plant health rules before ordering.

Live plant export requires government agricultural inspections, official phytosanitary certificates, insulated thermal packaging, and express air transit. Base inspection and documentation fees are fixed per box regardless of plant count. Ordering multiple plants distributes these fixed costs across your shipment.

A phytosanitary certificate is an official government document issued by the Thai Department of Agriculture. It certifies that qualified inspectors examined your plants and verified that they are free from harmful agricultural pests and diseases. Every international order from Jungle Garden carries this document. The certificate is charged separately from shipping — $45 to the EU and $5 to every other destination we serve. On shipments handled by a local agent, the cost is already inside the shipping price.

$45 for EU destinations and $5 for the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. It is charged on top of shipping and shown as its own line at checkout. Where a local agent handles your shipment — South Korea, the Philippines and Malaysia — the certificate is already inside the shipping price.

Destination customs and agricultural border officers hold the legal right to inspect botanical shipments. Inspectors check the physical plants against the attached phytosanitary certificate and commercial invoice. Our individual sterile packaging protects root systems during inspection.

You can combine orders if our laboratory has not yet completed your phytosanitary inspection. Contact us immediately with both order numbers so our team can consolidate your plants into a single box and update the government paperwork.

Our shipping charge covers international air transport and protective export packaging. The Thai phytosanitary certificate is a separate line at checkout. Neither covers local import VAT, customs tariffs, or handling fees charged by your government — the recipient pays all destination customs duties.
